Terms & Conditions

**1. Introduction**

1.1. These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between Ologic Limited hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our," and the customer, hereinafter referred to as "you" or "your," regarding the repair services provided by us for mobile phones and related devices.
1.2. By using our mobile phone repair services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with our services.

**2. Services**

2.1. We offer mobile phone repair services, including but not limited to screen replacements, battery replacements, software diagnostics, and hardware repairs.
2.2. We will provide an estimate of the cost and timeframe for the repair before commencing any work, unless the issue requires a diagnostic evaluation. Any time estimate for completion of the service, which may be given to you, is an estimate only and does not form any obligation under the terms of this Agreement. We will aim to return your device as soon as reasonably possible, however, any board level  repairs (i.e. repairs to the logic board of the device) may take at least 5 working days to be completed.)
2.3. We will make every effort to repair your mobile phone to your satisfaction, but we cannot guarantee the complete functionality or warranty of repaired devices.
2.4. This Agreement shall commence from the date you book the device for repair and shall continue until we have repaired or otherwise returned your device, whichever is sooner, and received any payment due from you.
2.5. We shall make reasonable efforts to repair your device subject to the availability of any parts required and/or the terms of any relevant guarantee or warranty. We shall perform the repair using our utmost care and skill.
2.6. We offer both high-quality after-market and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts (where possible) for the repairs of your device.
2.7. Where specified we also offer genuine Apple parts sourced from Apple. In such scenarios we will use Apple diagnostics, tools, and processes to make sure your Apple product repair is done safely and reliably.
2.8. We perform a series of tests when booking a device in for repair. If the device is not testable during this stage, Ologic is not liable for any faults found therefore we shall require the password/passcode of your device to test the it before and after the repair. Should you be unable to provide a passcode/password, we may still  be able to proceed with certain repairs, but will only be able to perform a limited functionality test the device before it is returned to you.
2.9. If we are unable to complete the repair for any reason, or the repair will incur further costs payable by you beyond that initially estimated by us, we will notify you immediately via telephone and/or email. If no fault is found on your device or you do not accept our revised estimate, we will return your device to you unrepaired and we reserve the right to charge you a diagnostic fee in accordance with our standard charges.
2.10. In order to complete a diagnostic or repairs it may be necessary to disassemble the device, which may result in further damage to the device. Ologic Limited accepts no liability for any further damage to the device, because of any existing damage. Ologic Liited will not cover the cost of replacement parts in any circumstances including if the device is not repairable.
2.11. The cost of repair will be calculated where possible in accordance with our standard charges as published from time to time.
2.12. Diagnostics are a chargeable, non-refundable service.
2.13. We shall notify you when the Device has been repaired and is dispatched from the repair centre.  
2.14. We shall be entitled to keep your device until all charges payable have been paid. We may also charge an additional fee for storage of your device.
2.15. Use of our service may void your manufacturer’s warranty. If you would like to avoid this, then please take your device directly to the manufacturer. Please note, your manufacturer’s warranty will not cover any accidental damage.
2.16. We do not accept responsibility for any progression in damage where your device has been repaired elsewhere prior to your repair at Ologic Limited or any issues found in your device (ie. ‘Touch Disease’, ripped flex) which were not evident upon initial inspection. Should any issues become evident, once the device is opened, we will contact you via telephone/email.
2.17. We do not accept responsibility for any progression in damage in devices that have been damaged by liquid. Opening the Device could trigger further damage which in some cases may be irreparable.
2.18 Following repair, any water proofing or resistance cannot be guaranteed
2.19. Where parts are required to be ordered for your repair, we require the repair to be fully paid before the parts are ordered and is a non-refundable service.
2.20. Packaging for your device will be provided on the return journey to customers but it is the customer’s responsibility to pack all devices securely before dispatch to Ologic Limited.
2.21. If you request a refund for a repair, we reserve the right to reverse any repair completed and retain any necessary parts in order to process the refund. We cannot guarantee that your original part will be returned, we will provide a part in a similar condition to the part that was initially attached to the device when the repair was initially started. By requesting a refund, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

**3. Quotes and Payments**

3.1. All quotes provided are estimates based on our assessment of the issue and may be subject to change after a more thorough diagnostic evaluation.
3.2. Payment for our services is due upon completion of the repair. We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and electronic payment methods.

**4. Warranty and Liability**

4.1. We provide a limited warranty on the parts and labour used for the repair. The duration and terms of this warranty will be provided to you at the time of repair.
4.2. Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from mishandling, accidents, water damage, or unauthorized repairs performed by third parties.
4.3. We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur during the repair process. We recommend you back up your data before submitting your device for repair.
4.4. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with our repair services.
4.5. Samsung Z Flip & Z Fold Mobile Phones:   In line with Samsung’s own policy, the Ologic warranty on Samsung Z Flip and Z Fold repairs will only carry a 7 day warranty for any type of physical damage or miss-shaping to the phone.
4.6.  Except as expressly provided in this Agreement, all representations, conditions, and warranties, whether express or implied (by statute or otherwise), are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4.7. In no circumstance shall we be liable to you for any indirect, special or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, including any loss of business, revenue, profits, anticipated savings, goodwill or any other indirect or consequential loss or damage howsoever arising.
4.8.  We shall not be liable for any claim arising under this Agreement unless you give us written notice of the claim within three (3) months of becoming aware of the circumstances giving rise to the claim or, if earlier, three (3) months from the time you ought reasonably to have become aware of such circumstances.
4.9. Ologic Limited will install warranty seals following the repair. Any tampering of the seals will void the Ologic warranty. Whenever a device is returned for a warranty repair the integrity of these sealed are confirmed, if these sealed are found to be missing or tampered with Ologic Limited reserves the right to void any warranty attached to the device
4.10. The Warranty is linked to a specific device as identified by its unique IMEI or serial number and to a specific Customer as identified by the records on our system. It will cover the Customer for any reoccurrence of the original fault and for the part replaced / repaired only, however if additional faults arise, they will not be covered under the terms of this Warranty. Furthermore, the Warranty will not cover accidental damage, nor will the cover extend should the device change ownership.

**5. Customer Responsibility**

5.1. You are responsible for removing any SIM cards, memory cards, or accessories from your mobile phone before submitting it for repair.
5.2. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about the issue with your mobile phone.

**6. Data Protection**

6.1. We will take reasonable precautions to protect your data during the repair process, but we are not liable for any data loss as a consequence of the damage to your phone and we accept no liability for loss or corruption of such data however caused. Any data or information that you may have stored on the device shall remain your sole responsibility we therefore highly recommend that you back up your device prior to commissioning our repair services. It is your responsibility to keep a record of any such data.
6.2. It is strongly recommended that you remove any sensitive or personal information from your device before submitting it for repair.

**7. Cancellation and Refunds**

7.1. You may cancel a repair request before we commence work. However, you may be charged for any diagnostic or disassembly services already performed.
7.2. Refunds will be provided in accordance with our refund policy, which will be provided to you upon request.

**8. Termination of Service**

8.1. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

**9. Governing Law**

9.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England  & Wales. Any disputes or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Business and our repair service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

10.2. Ologic Limited reserves the right to withdraw or to change the terms of this offer at any time.
10.3. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect your statutory rights.
10.4. Each clause of these Conditions shall be construed separately and independently of each other and the invalidity of any one part shall not affect the validity of any other part.
10.5.We shall not be liable to you for any delay in our failure of performance of our obligations under this Agreement arising from any reason beyond our reasonable control.
10.6. Our failure to exercise or enforce our rights or the giving of any forbearance, delay or indulgence, will not be construed as a waiver of such rights under this Agreement or otherwise.
10.7. This Agreement sets out the entire agreement and understanding between you and us in connection with its subject matter.
10.8 These Terms of Business may not be amended, modified, varied or supplemented except in writing signed by Ologic Limited
10.9  If any part of these Terms of Business is found to be void or unenforceable it will be severed from the rest of the Terms so that it is effective to the extent that it shall not affect the validity of the balance of the Agreement, which shall remain valid and enforceable according to its terms.
10.10. Nothing in this Terms of Business shall confer on any third party any benefits under the provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Thirds Parties) Act 1999

By using our repair service, you certify that you have read this agreement, that you know and understand the meaning and intent of this agreement and that you are entering this agreement knowingly and voluntarily. You also acknowledge the condition of your device upon booking your repair and as communicated to us is a fair and accurate description of the damage to the device.
